Peter Dominguez, President of California Surfaces, requests that the government adopt a product exclusion process for amorphous silica slabs. EOS Surfaces, LLC, a U.S. company and importer of quartz surface products, opposes the inclusion of crushed glass slabs in the proposed tariff rate quota. They argue that their specific product is distinct from the quartz products being investigated, serves a niche market, and would be unfairly harmed by the proposed remedy.
