The Bureau of Land Management Northwest Oregon District Siuslaw Field Office has issued a decision record and prepared Categorical Exclusion documentation to authorize improvements within the Whittaker Creek Campground to help attract campground hosts and better facilitate educational programs for school groups. This project is planned in conformance with the 2016 Northwestern and Coastal Oregon Resource Management Plan and Record of Decision.
