Super Pad 1 Oil Wells:
The BLM Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Super Pad 1 Oil Wells: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0132-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will authorize four Applications for Permit to Uinta Wax Operating LLC (the applicant) to drill oil wells to produce from Indian Trust minerals. The well pad already exist and are therefore not part of the action subject to the BLM decision. The project location is on split estate lands in Uintah County, Utah, approximately 3.6 linear miles southeast of Roosevelt, Utah, in Section 30, Township 2 South, Range 1 East, U.S.M. The surface is privately owned but the proposed wells would target private (fee), State, and Indian Trust minerals.
