To my knowledge, there has been no investigation into DJI or Autel Drones. Need engineering data. I have spent several thousand dollars on a thermal Autel drone to help with search and rescue. However, it looks like my ability to be of help is coming to an end. I am ex-military and understand national security. However, our cell phones are much more a security risk. I worked to get an FAA 107 to know the FAA rules and be a good steward. It appears that all that I have studied, all that I have spent, is soon to be diminished to papers. Please also do not ban the Skyrover X! or our these drones from DJI. We do not make recreational or cinematic drones here, only weapon grade dones for our military as there is much money to be made.
I am an electrical engineer and have friends that are communication engineers, and we do not understand the reasoning, so shall we can all get rid of our video recorders, cameras, and cell phones? Please reconsider the decisions that have no backing of engineering, no matter how sincere and patriotic.
