Summary: The commenter argues against removing human intervention capabilities from autonomous vehicle systems. They contend that human intervention is necessary to correct errors made by the humans who designed the autonomous systems.
Removing all possible ways where a human could intervene to stop a collision is borderline insane.
You shouldn't be concerned with how to beat benefit the new Tesla cab coming out. Human intervention needs to be possible. Human error exists in every autonomous system because humans made it. Autonomous cars are not made safer by disallowing human intervention at the time when another human's error in creating the systems shows itself.
