Removing any way for stopping an autonomous car while in the passenger seat is very dangerous. There have been cases of people being stuck in these types of vehicles and the ai messing up. If anything were to go wrong, an emergency stop and other manual safety features should be required. The passenger should be able to take control of the vehicle in the event of an emergency.
