I was of the opinion that if this was a good project for Martin Coubty I would support it. After holding a town hall with Mark Messner, Shane Lindauer and Eric Bassler. After hearing how the proposed Mid-States Corridor would negatively effect farms, businesses, Amish families in the community, and the tax base, I strongly oppose the Mid-States Corridor. Recently, highway 50 near the Bedford/Mitchell and highway 58 were chipped and sealed because no money to repave the highways. How can we support a proposal new huge ticket proposed highway like the Mid-States Corridor? Again, I do not support the project. The RDA should be dismantled-no member from Martin County was a member violating the by-laws.
