This secondary barrier for the ERJ 175 looks dangerous as we all 4 would be behind barrier while out of flight deck protocol is happening. The immediate steps to be taken in an emergency to remove barrier are not in any sequence that is easily identified. Please consider another option that is easier to use and does not require all crew members to be behind the barrier.
