The agency should add the active components of mifepristone, including generic equivalents and metabolites such as monodemethylated, didemethylated, and hydroxylated metabolites, to the contaminants list for monitoring. Without testing, no one can honestly say the risk is under control. As a taxpayer, I expect federal agencies to protect families before a preventable water-quality problem grows larger. Please add these chemicals and metabolites to the contaminants list and begin meaningful monitoring now.
