Summary: An individual is requesting that the EPA include chemical residues from abortion pills on the Drinking Water Contaminant Candidate List. They argue that these substances should be monitored and tested for their potential impacts on human health, the environment, and human dignity.
Clean water should not be a partisan issue. I am asking the EPA to look closely at chemical abortion pill residues and their impact on people and the environment. The EPA already tracks many emerging contaminants, and abortion pill chemicals deserve the same serious review as other substances that may affect human health or the environment. The EPA should gather data, test water systems, and report clearly to the public. This issue affects public health, environmental protection, and the dignity of human life. Please add these chemicals and metabolites to the contaminants list and begin meaningful monitoring now.
