I care deeply about clean drinking water here in OK, and I am asking the EPA to use its authority under the Safe Drinking Water Act to investigate this concern. The government has not done enough due diligence on what happens after these drugs are used and flushed into wastewater systems. That is exactly why the EPA should study whether residues in wastewater create broader risks. I want children, parents, and future generations to have safe water and honest information about what may be in it. The EPA should not ignore this risk.
