Clean water should not be a partisan issue. I am asking the EPA to look closely at chemical abortion pill residues and their impact on people and the environment. Hospitals and clinics are not allowed to dispose of biological material casually, yet chemical abortion allows drugs, blood, and human remains to enter wastewater without a serious national assessment. The EPA is the agency with the authority and expertise to determine whether this is affecting drinking water, wildlife, and public health. As a taxpayer, I expect federal agencies to protect families before a preventable water-quality problem grows larger. Please use the EPA's authority to investigate this problem and provide the public with clear answers.
