Summary: The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) opposes the broad inclusion of all pharmaceuticals in the Drinking Water Contaminant Candidate List. They argue that such a wide definition could lead to overly burdensome regulations that hinder patient access to medication and urge the EPA to focus only on contaminants with proven peer-reviewed evidence of harm.
