I am writing to oppose the interim final rule implementing Medicaid community engagement (i.e., work) requirements, and urge the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to withdraw this rule. This policy strips health coverage from millions of working families without increasing employment. It creates enormous administrative burdens on state and local governments that will harm all Medicaid recipients as well as the communities in which they live. I urge CMS to protect health care access for all eligible Americans. Please withdraw this rule.
