I make life-changing, life-saving decisions daily.
Providing an order for respiratory care is a minor responsibility in my practice in the scheme or other medical decisions.
It is absolutely necessary to provide this service to my patients without oversight from a physician as long as this service is within my scope of practice as a licensed PA.
Please allow a ruling change to allow PAs to provide this service without cosignature and oversight.
As a PA I provide cost saving medical care to patients already.
