Summary: A parent expresses gratitude for the Head Start program and shares a personal success story regarding their child's development. However, the commenter focuses on requesting more flexible operating hours to accommodate parents with non-traditional work shifts rather than taking a position on the specific regulatory changes regarding wages and benefits.
To whom it may concern, I wanted to take the time to say Thank you for the opportunity for my child and other kids that may attend this program, it's very helpful as a parent to know that my child and kids in the community can get assistance when need , my child attends Morgan County Head Start and has been there since her one year date of birth and it's a honor to know that her growth in learning has increased, unfortunately the times of operation that is available are not quite flexible to many parents that works different shifts, I work at a hospital and often times have to rush from work due to the closing time of the school however I am still grateful for every minute and the opportunity that my child got to experience, I would just like to take a moment for you to listen to a parents perspective on the overwhelming part of not knowing how your child would get to school or from school, I do want to say that it would be helpful if the headstart operation would be on the same school system schedule... My voice matters and I am glad that I had the opportunity to let my opinion come forward to speak helpful decision that could be addressed to others that are Willi g to take action and make some changes if possible.. Thanks!
