Cities for Action, a coalition of nearly 200 U.S. mayors and county executives across the U.S., respectfully submits this comment opposing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Interim Final Rule, USCIS Immigration Fees and Related Procedures Required by H.R. 1 Reconciliation Bill, 91 Fed. Reg. 22,952 (Apr. 29, 2026) (DHS Docket No. USCIS-2026-0133) (the “IFR” or “rule”). We strongly call on DHS to rescind or significantly amend the IFR. See the full comment attached
