I help a Ukrainian family that fled the war in the middle of the night with 8 children. They had no where to go. A church supported them coming here and now the father, grandfather and 4 oldest kids that can work all have jobs. The kids work while attending high school and college. This would cause a huge financial hardship for someone working hard to support themselves. Simply blows my mind why we would keep people who love America, work hard and want to support themselves and be self sufficient and here we are trying to keep them from being able to work. I am ashamed that this is something we would even consider and yes I am a republican.
