Work authorization is critical for our neighbors who arrived from Ukraine via the legal pathway of humanitarian parole during the current Russian government invasion of Ukraine. Our Ukrainian neighbors work in the US and pay taxes and contribute to our economy. Without income and private healthcare through their employment they would lack the opportunity to financially contribute to our city, state and country. When we allow.humanitarian parolees into the USA we need them to have means to house and feed their families in the US.
