Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that it places unnecessary restrictions on the ability of legal temporary residents to work. They advocate for more flexibility to allow individuals to work, freelance, and support themselves without relying on public benefits.
It makes no sense to limit Employment Authorization Documents in such a way that a person here temporarily, yet legally, can not work to their fullest potential. Why put anyone on welfare or public benefits when they want to and can work. Leave flexibility so that they can freelance, pick up side gigs quickly, do whatever they can to pay their own way here. Do not become more restrictive. More restrictions are in no one's best interest.
