I came to the United States to work, build a life, and give my child a better future. Like many other families, we are not asking for special treatment. We simply want the opportunity to work legally, support ourselves, and do everything the right way.
I believe work authorization is very important. Most of us are not asking for free benefits—we just want the chance to work legally. We want to pay taxes, support our families, and be independent. We respect the laws of the United States and want to follow them. If people are not allowed to work legally, it only makes life harder for families who are trying to build a better future.
