I am a Ukrainian beneficiary currently living in the United States, and I respectfully ask USCIS to continue providing timely access to Employment Authorization Documents (EADs).
For many of us, an EAD is not just a work permit—it is our ability to survive with dignity. I want to work legally, support my family, pay taxes, and contribute to my community. Without an EAD, I cannot earn an income to pay for housing, food, healthcare, and other basic necessities.
Returning to Ukraine is not a safe option for many people because of the ongoing war and instability. We came to the United States seeking safety and the opportunity to rebuild our lives through honest work, not by depending on public assistance.
Please consider the real human impact that delays or restrictions on work authorization have on Ukrainian families. We are grateful for the protection the United States has provided, and we ask that you allow us to continue supporting ourselves through legal employment while the situation in Ukraine remains dangerous.
