Comment Submitted by NALEO Educational Fund

AnonymousSupportAdvocacy
Summary: The NALEO Educational Fund and a coalition of immigrant-serving organizations support the continued use of Form I-912 and its current fee waiver eligibility framework. They argue that fee waivers are essential for ensuring naturalization remains accessible to low-income residents and urge USCIS to modernize the process by allowing digital submission of the form.
On behalf of the NALEO Educational Fund, we submit the attached comment on behalf of the signatories to the comment letter. The NALEO Educational Fund also notes that given today's pre-publication announcement of the proposed rule which would among other things, eliminate the fee waiver for naturalization, the attached comments about the need to maintain the accessibility of naturalization, are even more salient.
