Summary: The NALEO Educational Fund and a coalition of immigrant-serving organizations support the continued use of Form I-912 and its current fee waiver eligibility framework. On behalf of the NALEO Educational Fund, we submit the attached comment on behalf of the signatories to the comment letter. The NALEO Educational Fund also notes that given today's pre-publication announcement of the proposed rule which would among other things, eliminate the fee waiver for naturalization, the attached comments about the need to maintain the accessibility of naturalization, are even more salient.
