Summary: The commenter, an individual, opposes the proposed changes to the AR-11 form because they believe the added requirements regarding employment and means-tested benefits would be confusing and intimidating for human trafficking survivors and crime victims. They argue that these complexities could cause vulnerable individuals to abandon the care and benefits they are entitled to receive.
The proposed AR-11 form would be intimidating and confusing especially for Human trafficking survivors and crime victims. Even though these classes of people are elgible for some benefits and some do not yet have work permits that are pending, it would further complicate filling out the form because the form would require all these steps like employment and means tested benefits. That is also contradictory in nature as people in these class are under different circumstances. I am afraid this would cause people to abandon the care that they are due. I hope there is some clarity on this issue and I ask for the form not to be changed.
