Summary: The International Trademark Association (INTA) supports the United States becoming a party to the Riyadh Design Law Treaty (RDLT) without any reservations. They argue that the treaty is largely consistent with existing U.S. design patent law and will benefit U.S. entities by providing a more predictable, consistent global framework for design protection, particularly regarding robust grace periods.
