Summary: A university history professor argues that the proposed regulations represent a politicization of academia that threatens the future of higher education. They claim the policies will cause permanent harm to students, the economy, and the country's intellectual landscape.
As a professor of History for 30 years at the country's most prestigious research university today I find these new policies a mortal threat to the future of higher education. this politicization of science, social sciences on the humanities for the most anti intellectual, anti-cience and anti-humanist agenda imagineable will cause permanent harm not just to the country as a whole but two generations of students and our economic future.
