I am a high school student from San Diego, California. My concern is §200.450 — Issue Advocacy Prohibition is particularly significant for education providers because it could restrict grantees from communicating findings, advocating for students before state agencies, or engaging in routine community education work.
As someone who has been organizing a club at school to advocate for CARE, an organization that aids people in poverty all around the world, I plan on creating fundraisers throughout the year to donate to and support this group. This would affect our club's ability to seek external funding to execute our goals and vision to contribute to a prosperous world.
