Summary: A pharmacy student at Auburn University opposes the proposed changes to the Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance. The commenter argues that the changes introduce political bias and discrimination into the scientific process, which undermines the trust healthcare providers and patients place in research-based treatment decisions.
I am a 4th year pharmacy student at Auburn University in Alabama. I do not agree with OMB's changes. As a health care provider, I need to be able to trust the evidence that is found through research. These changes reduce the level of trust that I and my patients can have in the evidence supporting treatment decisions by introducing more bias and political discrimination into the scientific process.
