Summary: A local resident supports the proposed rule but argues that it does not go far enough to allow full public vehicle access. The commenter advocates for the ability to drive personal vehicles along the entire park road and expresses a desire for the road to be fully paved.
Denali National Park is greatly over restricted on vehicle access. While this rule allows slightly higher vehicle access it does not go far enough to allow the public access to the park. As a local resident I think we should always be allowed to drive our personal vehicles the entire park road. I'm looking forward to the reopening of the bridge and access to the park. I hope the road is paved in its entirety some day and full public access be allowed to the park road.
