With great power comes great responsibility, and we have a responsibility as humans to speak up for those who can't do it themselves. For example, all of the marine life that has been put as risk with the sweeping cuts to environmental and oceanic protections, the favoring of the fossil fuel industries over nearly everything else, and now, the stripping of protections for the Rice's whale, described on YOUR OWN website (fisheries.noaa.gov) as "one of the most endangered whales in the world." Is it a coincidence that its habitat, its home, is in an area that is coveted for further oil extraction? I OPPOSE this change.
