Summary: The commenter argues against the practice of fishing entirely, citing concerns about animal cruelty and the fact that fish experience pain. They are not specifically addressing the electronic logbook reporting requirements but are instead calling for a total ban on fishing to protect marine life.
Please stop killing the poor fish and the other sea animals and leave them in peace. People don't need to eat fish and other sea animals, so please leave them alone. Please protect the fish and other sea animals instead, and do not torture and/or kill the fish and the other sea animals anymore. Fishing does cause pain for fish. Recent studies reflect this discovery of fish actually experiencing pain. So, it would make sense that fish feel pain when being pierced with a hook or dying of asphyxia when taken out of the water. It's just cruel. Please check out the link below. All this killing is unnecessary, so please put an end to it. Fishing already inflicts massive pain on the fish species as is along with also harming/killing many Marine Mammals to top it off. Please protect all the Pelagic Fish, the Dolphins, the Wahoo Fish, the Sharks, the Gulf Reef Fish Species, the King Mackerels, the Spanish Mackerels, the South Atlantic Snapper-Grouper species, the Tunas, the Billfishes, and the many other fish species out there, because they are all precious and beautiful and they deserve protection just as other animals do.
