Summary: An individual commenter opposes the fee increase based on religious and moral grounds. They argue that the action prioritizes money over the well-being of neighbors and community members.
My morals are pretty much entirely based on my religious beliefs. I believe that it is impossible to be a good person and not love my neighbor. Therefore, quintupling the amount that it costs for my neighbors to MAYBE stay in the country. I like my community. So many of us love our neighbors, regardless of where they’re from. If you are more focused on money than the people you live around, you don’t love your neighbor, you worship the false idol of the dollar, and you will never make it into Heaven with me.
