Summary: Carolyn Elliott urges the Department of Housing and Urban Development to withdraw the proposed rule. She argues that the revisions would unfairly limit who can be accepted into shelters and emphasizes that all people should be treated with dignity and compassion during the housing crisis.
To the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Please reject the proposed ruling to limit who may be accepted into shelter, especially since we are facing a housing crisis. In addition, all people must be regarded and treated with dignity and respect, regardless of who they are. If the tables were turned and you were the one left on the streets, likely, you would do everything you could to treat all beings with compassion and respect. I urge you to withdraw the proposed rule "Equal Access to Housing in HUD Programs Revisions" (Docket No. FR-6518-P-01). Sincerely, Carolyn Elliott
