I am writing to strongly oppose the proposed changes to the Equal Access Rule issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In my work with people seeking housing services, I have found that they often already face many barriers to receive the help they need. Adding additional barriers will lead to further instability and perpetuate homelessness.
