There is a lot of anxiety in government. Facing threats both real and imagined, the most that one can do some days is to react. Drought is widespread and storms grow worse. Anger steers discussion and violence rules the street. We fight so hard to cling to what we have that makes us feel even the illusion of safety; all the while, as things get worse for the rest of us, our imagined fears begin to become real. Support can be the deciding factor between rehabilitation and suicide -- or a mass casualty incident. In a time where so many struggle, we need all the support we can offer, for the good of us all. Life is already so difficult. Why make it harder? Be well, and be kind. -- Adda Panek-Schuster
