The current Equal Access Rule is crucial to the ongoing fight for equal access to housing and shelter in the United States, particularly for LGBTQIA+ people. The ACLU strongly opposes the Proposed Rule and urges HUD to preserve the existing rule and related protections against discrimination in HUD-funded programs.
