Tim COpposeIndividual
Summary: Tim C, an individual, opposes the proposed scheduling of 7-hydroxymitragynine because it has personally helped manage his rheumatoid arthritis and alcohol addiction. He argues against a total ban, suggesting instead that the substance be regulated through a model similar to liquor stores or dispensaries with specific thresholds and age verification.
I am writing to share my personal story. 7 hydroxymitragynine has been such a positive blessing in my life. I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis and found 7 oh to be very effective in helping my joint pain. I also was an alcoholic who drank heavily. I found 7 oh 10 months ago and it has been amazing. I have not had a single drink of alcohol in the past 10 months. 7 oh made my arthritis bearable and also took away my desire to drink alcohol. Every aspect of my life has improved drastically since finding 7 oh. I believe smart regulation is the best way to move forward. I do agree that it should not be easily accessed by people who are not educated on the subject. I also feel this country was founded on freedom. Prohibition has never worked in the past, and is not the solution here either. It is also absurd to think with one stroke of a pen, hundreds of thousands of law abiding citizens could instantly become criminals. Real serious laws with real serious consequences. It is not fitting to the reality of the situation. I do not agree with ridiculous packaging and availability at convenience stores. A liquor store or dispensary model would make sense. I feel online access from trusted vendors who provide lab tests and age verification is the answer. Please do not ban this very useful substance. It has proven helpful in many ways. If there is to be a 7 threshold, I feel it should follow the current KCPA policy of 2% by weight. Sincerely, Tim C
