Summary: An individual is urging the agency to take action to protect the Yellowstone bison, specifically by constructing a wildlife bridge to prevent deaths caused by vehicle collisions. They argue that the bison are in peril and should be protected under the Endangered Species Act.
Given the current peril and dangers that Yellowstone&#39;s wild buffalo are facing, I strongly support and encourage the introduction of a Yellowstone Buffalo Bridge to provide safe passage for these magestic creatures to cross the road in order to avoid continued unnecessary multiple deaths in the future. It was noted that just as of last year, 13 Yellowstone wild buffalo lost their lives by simply trying to cross the road and this was caused by a singular semi-truck. The wild buffalo herd is shrinking year by year and they are worth supporting and helping. Please genuinely consider introducing a bridge for their safe passage. As their actual existence is being threatened, it seems quite timely to acknowledge and incorporate the Endangered Species Act for protecting these buffalo, as that Act was set up to protect threatened species. I thank you for your time and serious consideration to this appeal for Yellowstone&#39;s Wild Buffalo. They dont have a voice to speak out for their safety...but on their behalf... we collectively do and can equally make the changes they need to survive. <br/>
