I have been lucky enough over the years to observe and be captivated by the Yellowstone bison. Bison require the protections that listed as endangered would give them. They are endangered directly due to human destruction of their habitat, and their historic and current slaughter.<br/>They need the migration corridors and habitat connectivity. <br/>They need to be kept out of politicians’ and cattle ranchers’ private interests and protected for the entire country. <br/>How can we have such severe restrictions and protections for our national bird but not for our national mammal?<br/>
