Summary: An individual is advocating for the listing of the Yellowstone bison as a threatened and endangered species. They argue that the current practice of culling and hazing the animals is cruel, unnecessary for resource management, and a crime against nature.
I want the Yellowstone buffalo to be listed as a threatened and endangered species. There are a myriad of reasons, but the top 3 are as follows.
1) As an international icon that accurately represents the freedoms we observe here in the United States, it’s bizarre that we outright kill them in the name of resource management.
2) The hazing of these animals to drive them into a killing field to curtail their numbers is not essential but unduly cruel to the buffalo population.
3) The culling of these magnificent animals is a crime against nature and the natural order.
