I don't know know any other animal that has been maligned as much as bison, my favorite wild animal! Like so many native entities, this was the way to get rid of anything in America that European immigrants did not want, to attempt to destroy Indigenous peoples! That attempt continues in many other ways! It's an ancient means of destroying what isn't desired, and it continues today! I have no sage and scientific words, only my deep understanding of and love for animals, and the balance and protection they require for the world to endure and become healthy for both humans and animals. We are very far out of balance and are slowly destroying ourselves and all life attempting to live in such disastrous conditions! We must do everything possible to sustain one species among many, the bison!
