Summary: A private citizen is urging the agency to fully protect the 22 endangered species in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and the Territory of Guam. They argue that protecting these species preserves vital ecosystems that provide natural resources and act as a buffer against climate change for humans.
My family and I urge you to fully protect the 22 endangered species living in thr Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Territory of Guam. By protecting these endangered species you are also protecting entire ecosystems in which they live. Ecosystems world wide are under serious threat from climate change, habitat destruction and numerous other destructive forces. Intact ecosystems not only protect endangered and threaten species that rely on healthy habitat, but also protect humans by offering continued natural resources as well as a significant buffer for climate change. Nature evolved over millions of years, connecting all life in an intricate and interlocking web. When too much of this web is destroyed, humans will suffer immensely. Please do everything possible to save these 22 incredible species and their surroundings!
