I helped Rick Vetter for many years with golden eagle surveys in and around Malheur National Wildlife Refuge when I lived in Harney County. The current population crash of hares and rabbits and decline go golden eagle nesting is proof that u should make it worse by hunting rabbits and hares at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. do not allow hunting of these species !
