I am writing in response to FWS-HQ-NWRS-2026-1223). This is yet another concerning disregard for public lands. Wildlife refuges are for conservation and this over reaching action is beyond any specific species evaluation. This is not scientific and therefore I strongly oppose the baseless expansion. Please use scientific and conservation experts and thoughtful evaluation to guide decisions about our national wildlife refuges.
