Summary: Elizabeth Clemmey, a naturalist and wildlife rehabber, opposes the proposed hunting regulations on wildlife refuges. She argues that wildlife needs more protection due to the current extinction crisis and that the purpose of a "refuge" is to provide a safe haven from pursuit.
Absolutely no increased hunting on Wildlife Refuges. We are in the 6th mass extinction and need to be giving wildlife more. I am a naturalist, bird watcher and wildlife rehabber. I work with many group trying to stop the disappearance of so many creatures. We need more protections not less. Perhaps try looking up the word refuge -a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit danger or trouble. Put them together-Wildlife Refuge A place wildlife has refuge. It’s not that difficult. No to hunting on wildlife refuge. Elizabeth Clemmey 175 Essex Street Mansfield Ma 02048
