Summary: The commenter, a paid X Premium+ subscriber, argues that X (formerly Twitter) lacks accountability and has unfairly suspended their account for "inauthentic behavior" without providing a way to cancel their subscription. They advocate for government intervention to hold the company accountable for these practices.
X needs accountability and it has none. I am a paid for premium plus customer and was false flagged for spam and if a human had bothered to review they would have found I have no inauthentic behaviors and no reason to even say that. Not one thing would be found in my case. They have locked me out of my premium subscription so I can’t even cancel it. They suspended me and they can still take the money until I can find someway of shutting off access to my card. That in itself is ILLEGAL for them to do. No way to call and no way to end service. The USA government needs them to be accountable because they are running worse than Twitter ever acted. I have filed a complaint with the BBB over this and I am going to pursue recourse since they basically have now left me no recourse other than to cancel my credit card which is set up for dozens of vendors and what a nightmare that would be. I am not nor have I ever engaged in any type of inauthentic behavior nor could X if pushed to provide evidence could they in any way find that on my account.
