Unless the government is trusted no amount of regulation will be useful to protect Americans or anyone else on this earth. As the US Government works for corporations and works to make money, it’s basically a Corporation itself. It would be great if the US government was more trustworthy than other governments around the globe, but it’s not. History proves this. So my comment is this: it really doesn’t matter what regulations or laws are put into place, why bother, the US government will do whatever its wealthy donors will tell it to do, whether it be on paper or through loop holes. Even offering public comment options is useless and only done for some rule on some paper. The data compiled will be changed to make it look like the public supports having no privacy and no laws to protect themselves from wealthy corporations and the US government.
