Twitter is unable to reliably meet it's commitments under CCPA or GDPR; their systems to download all of delete all account data can trigger an account ban, which prevents a user from retrieving their information or removing it without somehow getting unbanned, a process in which the company demands personal data far beyond what it was ever given access to, including sensitive identity documents.
Additionally, its parent company's xAI/grok service uses personal information, like photographs to generate nonconsensual deep fake pornography of twitter users, or non-user people and children unfortunate enough to have their photos uploaded to twitters services.
At this stage, the company should face massive additional fines and an extension of all restrictions on data use and FTC monitoring, extending to the parent companies.
