Accessing IV ketamine treatment has drastically altered my life. As someone who has tried (survived) very difficult trials of numerous psychiatric medications and interventions, IV ketamine has been the sole thing to significantly improve my long-term, treatment resistant depression. I firmly believe should this treatment be more widely available, many many people would benefit from being spared the major difficulty of years lost to the side effects of coming on and off new meds, hopelessness in treatment/survival and difficulty in managing MDD. This treatment is life-giving and FDA approval would mean that millions more people might afford an opportunity to live!
