Current method to reduce complications of diabetes is rest on indirect method of blood sugar control. New advances on complement therapeutics and AI application show that abnormal glycation in fluid and on cell surface contribute to loss of host cell protection from Factor H. This triggers complement activation (C3 amplification Loop) to cause complications of diabetes. Endocrine Technology, Has developed a small molecule to target abnormal glycation related adverse effects by inhibitting Factor H/ Factor D of alternate complement system with clinically safety data.
